Though it was co-addressed to Alex and me, I received my first piece of mail here in Cusco from Mr. Evan Madow. It was a great letter, written with a typewritter, full of news from back home, anecdotes, and pictures from sophomore year. Evan did have an unfair advantage in the race to be the first one to send me a mail- a competition I know you were all trying to win- as no one else had my address, so I will give it to you now.
